I have been an a quest for Health & Wellness for many years now. I started thinking more about my health as I was getting closer to my 30s. I had been clean off drugs and alcohol for many years which was a huge plus, but I knew there was more that needed to be done. I quit smoking before my 28th birthday. That single action made me realize how much more I wanted to do for myself. Soon after I quit smoking, I started walking then I started running. Running was not always my passion it was very tough at first and I will admit that I did not love it right away. It took me some time to build a strong pace that I felt comfortable breathing with. I also did yoga on and off for many years and always loved that practice. When my girlfriend did her 200 Hour Yoga teacher training my practice got more intense and I was peaceful.
